The cafe business manager will oversee the daily operations of the cafe, ensuring a high level of quality, profitability, and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Staff Management:
    • Recruit, train, and develop a team of baristas, servers, and kitchen staff.
    • Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback.
    • Foster a positive and productive work environment that encourages growth and development.
  • Customer Service:
    • Ensure exceptional customer service and resolve any customer complaints in a timely and professional manner.
    • Develop and implement customer loyalty programs to increase customer retention.
  • Operations Management:
    • Manage daily cafe operations, including inventory management, supply chain logistics, and equipment maintenance.
    • Maintain high standards of cleanliness, safety, and quality control throughout the cafe.
    • Monitor and control labor costs, inventory levels, and other expenses to ensure optimal financial performance.
  • Sales and Marketing:
    • Develop and implement sales and marketing strategies to increase revenue and drive business growth.
    • Collaborate with the owner/operator to develop promotions and events that attract new customers and retain existing ones.
  • Financial Management:
    • Manage cafe finances, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
    • Monitor and control costs, including labor, inventory, and supplies, to ensure optimal financial performance.
