Job Opportunity

This position entails the preparation and submission of technical drawings, catalogues and calculations for designated projects. The successful candidate will assist the Project Manager/Sr. Engineer in preparing vendor approval submissions, updating project schedules, and working out bills of materials and engineering deliverables.

The ideal candidate will possess strong technical skills and knowledge of high voltage and low tension switchboards, transformers, generators, motor starters, testing and commissioning. Familiarity with relevant Singapore standards and international standards is also required.

The Electrical Assistant will be responsible for effective communication between engineering, technical, construction, and project control groups. They will coordinate with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of works.

Key responsibilities include executing projects in accordance with general specifications, particular specifications, technical specifications, and drawings. The Electrical Assistant will also contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed, monitoring and carrying out quality checks on progressive completed work, and developing methods of statements and testing procedures for the works.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Experience with project management software and design tools
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
