Nurturing Infant Caregiver

We are seeking a qualified Childcare Specialist to join our team. As a Childcare Specialist, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and education to infants and toddlers.
- Promote feelings of security and trust in children through nurturing and responsive interactions.
- Provide routine care such as bathing, feeding, diapering, toileting, dressing, and napping while ensuring the child's safety and well-being.
- Familiarize yourself with established routines and procedures for caring for infants and toddlers.
- Encourage children's exploratory behavior, thinking, and learning through engaging activities and experiences.
- Plan and adapt activities to meet the unique needs and interests of each child.
- Supervise children at all times to ensure their safety and well-being.
- Maintain a safe and healthy environment that promotes physical, emotional, and social development.
- Observe, reflect, evaluate, and document children's learning, development, and progress to inform teaching practices.
Requirements:
- A minimum of a Higher Certificate in Infant Care or equivalent qualification.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and motivational skills to build positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues.
- The ability to work independently and under pressure while maintaining a calm and composed demeanor.
- Proactive approach to problem-solving and a strong team player ethos.
