Job Role Overview

We are looking for a skilled Sales Merchandiser to be responsible for visiting supermarkets and minimart outlets in an assigned area. The goal is to provide excellent service and enhance customer relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure all company products, especially core SKUs, are well merchandised with adequate stock levels at shelves and warehouses.
  • Liaise and coordinate with external and internal staff on product ordering and ensure prompt setup of promotional displays.
  • Update point-of-sale materials, and pricing displays at the right place and time.
  • Implement first-in-first-out (FIFO) inventory management to ensure product freshness and minimize trade returns.
  • Check expired or expiring stock, product defects, and quality issues.
  • Provide regular feedback on sales performance, store display issues, and competitor activities to sales representatives.

Required Qualifications and Skills

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • At least a GCE 'N' / 'O' Level or SPM qualification.
  • 1-2 years of merchandising experience in modern and general trade.
  • Knowledge of merchandising is an added advantage.
  • Possessing your own vehicle and being physically fit to carry heavy loads are also desirable traits.
