Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the overall management of 1 Institutional Kitchen, ensuring service levels are being met.
  • Oversee the preparation and distribution of meals according to dietary requirements and food hygiene standards.
  • Ensure strict compliance of all relevant food and workplace safety regulations, including follow-up on audit recommendations.
  • Co-manage a team of workers and vendors to ensure smooth running of operations.
  • Work with the team and various stakeholders to optimize workers' productivity and morale.
  • Keep abreast of changes in the food industry, i.e., food safety management, SFA regulations, industry best practices.
  • Execute contingency plans when required.
  • Ensure compliance to risk measures from the risk management framework.
Requirements:
  • Diploma or professional qualifications in Food & Beverage or Manufacturing Operations.
  • Relevant working experience in a food establishment.
  • Candidate with institutional catering experience is preferred.

Skills:

  • Details-oriented with good organization skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Good knowledge of food handling, food safety, and hygiene standards.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.
