Adjunct Associate Professor in Physics

We are looking for a candidate holding a Ph.D. degree in physics to join our Division of Physics and Applied Physics (PAP). The successful applicant will collaborate with PAP colleagues to work in the area of plasma physics for fusion clean energy, particularly focusing on plasma turbulence measurements using microwave diagnostics.

The Adjunct Associate Professor will be involved in collaborated research with PAP colleagues in the fusion science programme and explore collaborations with colleagues from other Schools within NTU, as well as international collaborations in fusion science and technology.

Key qualifications for this position include 3-5 years of experience in modelling microwave diagnostics to measure fluctuations in fusion plasmas. The ideal candidate should be able to model radio frequency wave propagation in turbulent media to measure spectral properties of plasma fluctuations. Additionally, they should have demonstrated an ability to publish in top-tier journals in plasma physics.

This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated and experienced researcher to contribute to cutting-edge research in plasma physics.
