The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the development of the experimental apparatus, working closely with the principal investigator and other team members.

The role will involve developing a deep understanding of the underlying physics and developing innovative solutions to technical challenges.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop a cold atom apparatus using advanced technologies
  • Create the necessary interface to drive a quantum processor
  • Report progress to the principal investigator on a regular basis
  • Supervise undergraduate and PhD students
Qualifications:
  • PhD degree in experimental physics, with expertise in quantum physics or optics
  • At least one year of experience in a similar role
  • Familiarity with laser systems, vacuum technology, atomic physics, and photonics
