Job Title

A senior cybersecurity professional is required to develop and implement comprehensive security strategies.

  • Develop and implement comprehensive security strategies to safeguard the company's IT infrastructure and data assets.
  • Monitor, analyse and respond to security threats and incidents, ensuring timely and effective remediation.
  • Oversee the deployment and management of security technologies, including firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and access controls.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure security is integrated into all aspects of the business.
  • Provide expert guidance and training to employees on security best practices and incident response protocols.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest security trends, regulations and industry standards, and recommend improvements to enhance the company's security posture.
  • Manage and mentor a team of security professionals, fostering their professional development and maintaining a high-performing, collaborative culture.
Requirements

Minimum 2 years of experience in a senior cybersecurity or information security role, preferably in the information and communication technology industry.

  • Strong technical expertise in designing, implementing and managing enterprise-level security solutions, including firewalls, VPNs, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and access controls.
  • In-depth knowledge of security frameworks, industry regulations and best practices in security.
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical and critical thinking skills to identify and mitigate security risks.
  • Proven track record of leading and mentoring a team of security professionals.
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills to work cross-functionally with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Relevant certifications are highly desirable.
