Job Title: Skilled Healthcare Professional

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced healthcare professional to join our team. This role is ideal for individuals who are passionate about delivering exceptional patient care and contributing to a collaborative and dynamic work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Assume shift or night duties or be on call whenever necessary. Assist in wound management by tracking wound progress, assessing, documenting, and reporting wound conditions to nursing officers to manage wound outcomes.

  • Pack, prepare, and serve oral medication, topical applications, and subcutaneous injections.
  • Assist nursing officers in rounds with medical doctors and allied health professionals, including dietitians and speech therapists, by preparing required documents.
  • Arrange resident transportation to medical appointments, assign care staff to accompany residents, and ensure timely attendance at scheduled appointments.

Prepare and arrange dressing trolleys, ensure medical supplies and consumables are sufficient, tidy up the clinic, including treatment rooms and medication rooms, and serve and feed residents via nasogastric/PEG tubes.

Supervise and assist care staff in handling toileting needs, such as bathing, transferring from bed to wheelchair, and commode use for residents. Perform daily bladder washouts for residents with indwelling catheters and handle any emergencies that may arise.

Attend to emails, phone calls, and messages, record cash donations and in-kind contributions, perform COVID clearance tests, and assist with computer digitalization when necessary.

Document all activities promptly and accurately in the care management system, and undertake any other tasks assigned by the Chief Nursing Officer and nursing officers.
