Job Title: Financial Governance Specialist
About the Role:This is a critical position in our organization, requiring an individual with expertise in financial governance to ensure compliance with global standards and regulations.
- Manage tax filings for various jurisdictions, including Singapore, Hong Kong, US, and Germany.
- Oversee withholding tax reporting across APAC and the US.
- Stay updated on tax legislation and implement changes as necessary.
- Collaborate with external advisors to support audits and maintain strong documentation and controls.
- Enhance efficiency through automation and AI tools.
- Establish best practices for tax reporting and work closely with internal teams and external tax advisors.
- Provide tax compliance insights for cross-functional projects and assist the Tax Director in delivering internal training.
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or related field.
- Professional qualification holder of CPA, CA, or CTA.
- At least 6 years of experience in tax compliance with exposure to private equity and multi-jurisdictions in Asia.
- Strong grasp of international corporate tax laws, preferably with US and Asia tax experience.
- Demonstrated ability to manage cross-functional teams and external advisors effectively.
