Job Description

  • Lead in the creation and optimization of comprehensive financial models to support strategic decision-making.
  • Develop and refine assumptions, parameters, and scenarios under guidance to ensure model robustness and reliability.
  • Review and interpret commercial documentation accurately in the financial model.
  • Perform sensitivity analysis and stress testing to validate model assumptions and outputs, aiding clients in making informed decisions.
Requirements

We are seeking an experienced Manager passionate about financial modelling and driven by growth.

You will work with a team of modelling professionals to create, analyze, and optimize complex financial models, ensuring they are robust and reliable.

  • Operations:
    • Managing a portfolio of active assignments
    • Lead in the creation and optimization of comprehensive financial models
    • Develop and refine assumptions, parameters, and scenarios
    • Review and interpret commercial documentation
    • Perform sensitivity analysis and stress testing
  • People:
    • Lead a team of modelling professionals
    • Train, motivate and manage junior team members
    • Collaborate closely with team members
    • Communicate model findings and insights effectively
  • Growth:
    • Supporting business development and growth ambitions
    • Lead in the development of client pitches
    • Build client relationships
Required Skills and Qualifications

The ideal candidate should have:

  • (4-6) years of relevant experience in a financial role within a recognized advisory practice or large corporate setting.
  • A good appreciation of accounting concepts and an accounting qualification beneficial.
  • An in-depth understanding of Project Finance concepts.
  • Strong analytical skills with proven experience in building and operating financial models using Excel.
  • Degree qualified in a numerate discipline, with a postgraduate qualification in accounting or finance beneficial.
  • Experience with the FAST financial modeling standard desirable.
