Civil & Structural Design Specialist Role

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in civil engineering with expertise in conducting structural design and analysis calculations using relevant codes and standards.

Key responsibilities include reviewing and executing engineering activities related to Civil/Structural Engineering for Solar PV Power Plants, coordinating with various disciplines to ensure inter-departmental checks, and providing support and clarifications to the Site Execution team.

In addition to reviewing vendor drawings related to Electrical DC, AC & Instrumentation, you will need to clarify any issues regarding design and client requirements to the Site Execution Team, as well as gather project details such as Soil reports, boundary coordinates, and Topo Survey information from clients and Section Heads.

To be successful in this role, you should have a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering and possess significant experience in conducting structural design and analysis calculations using relevant codes and standards.

You should also have expertise in engineering activities for civil & structural aspects of Solar Power Plants, covering various components such as control room buildings, transformer foundations, outdoor equipment foundations, inverter rooms, grading, roads and drainage, outdoor steel structures, and other miscellaneous works.

Additionally, you should be able to review vendor engineering documents in relation to Civil & Structural design, understand contractual technical requirements, and provide necessary support to the Project Teams.
