About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Fund Administration Manager to join our team at MUFG Investor Services. As a key member of our Private Equity Operations team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional fund administration services to our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide primary contact for daily operational and issue discussions with clients
  • Review and analyze Net Asset Value calculations and associated reporting
  • Coordinate investor capital activities, annual financial audits, and statutory reporting
  • Maintain a working understanding of fund documentation and apply terms to financial reporting and income/expense allocations
  • Develop and maintain a working knowledge of current accounting principles and develop solutions for issues
  • Liaise with banks, auditors, brokers, and custodians to ensure smooth service delivery to clients and timely completion of deliverables
  • Involved in new fund on-boarding process
  • Resolve client issues and queries in a timely manner and maintain high client satisfaction
  • Identify and highlight opportunities for internal process improvement and increase in operational efficiency
  • Responsible for work allocation and team utilization, ensuring appropriate cross-training and coverage to meet client and organizational expectations
  • Participate in company and client initiatives outside of normal deliverables and responsibilities
Requirements
  • Hold a university degree in Finance/Accounting or relevant qualification
  • Minimum 5 years progressive accounting/audit/fund administration experience in private credit or private equity, with experience managing staff
  • In-depth understanding of fund industry, with good knowledge of private credit or loan product an advantage
  • Strong computer skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Office products and willingness to embrace new technologies for efficient solutions
  • Strong knowledge of IFRS, US GAAP, and Singapore GAAP
  • Experience with accounting software, such as Investran, an advantage
