Job Summary:

  • To conduct weekly/monthly curriculum planning with the other educator, ensuring alignment with centre's policies and framework.
  • To plan, supervise, and implement programs for classes, promoting a safe and nurturing environment.
  • To assist the Principal in addressing parents' concerns and enquiries, maintaining open communication channels.
  • To serve as a role model, using positive teaching approaches and encouraging collaboration among educators.
  • To ensure compliance with Centre SOP and ECDA requirements, upholding high standards of safety and hygiene.
  • To familiarize oneself with centre's curriculum documents, handbooks, and policy manuals, staying updated on industry best practices.
  • To work independently and collaboratively within a team, contributing to the overall success of the centre.
  • To maintain effective communication with parents, participating in discussion groups and fostering strong relationships.

Requirements:

  • A DECCE/ACEY/ACECCE or relevant Early Childhood Education qualification is essential.
  • A GCE 'O' Level credit in English with a minimum C6 grading is required.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are necessary for success in this role.
  • A passion for teaching young children and dedication to their development is crucial.
