**Quantity Surveyor Job Description**

We are seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join our team in the renovation industry.

  • Job Responsibilities:
    • The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing tender and contract documents, including bills of quantities.
    • They will also be responsible for preparing and analyzing costing for tenders.
    • An additional key responsibility will be quantity take off, sourcing of subcontractors and suppliers.
    • The role will involve preparing and submitting variation and cost claims.
    • Procurement of materials and project-related items is also a key aspect of this job.
    • The Quantity Surveyor will be responsible for managing project timelines and costs, carrying out rates and commercial negotiations.
    • Additionally, they will be managing contracts in accordance with terms and conditions regarding financial complications.
    • The successful candidate may also be required to assist Project Directors/Managers/Snr QS on contractual disputes and arbitration.
  • Requirements:
    • A minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar position in the renovation industry is essential.
    • A Diploma in Building/Quantity Surveying or equivalent academic background is required.
    • The ideal candidate will have the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
