Job Title: Marine Inspection Specialist

About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to fill the role of Marine Inspection Specialist. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in conducting various types of surveys on board ships and sites.

Responsibilities:
  • Conduct and complete various types of surveys on board ships and sites
  • Perform marine survey onboard vessels and cargo inspection on sites to assess and report on their condition for insurance claims
  • Verify equipment onboard vessels to ensure compliance with various standards or specifications
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following skills and qualifications:

  • Nitec/ITE related in marine or Diploma in Nautical, Maritime Studies, Marine Engineering, or Marine-related from a local polytechnic/private institution
  • Experience onboard vessel is an advantage
  • Able to work at irregular hours, including public holidays due to ship schedules
