Oracle Exadata Database Administrator
Job Description:
The role of an Oracle Exadata Database Administrator is to ensure the high availability and performance of database systems. The DBA will take on technical tasks, support day-to-day BAU tasks, incidents, and RFCs.
They will also provide technical knowledge and support services proactively and reactively to maintain the availability and reliability of database system infrastructure in accordance with SLA.
Furthermore, the DBA will work in line with policies based on LEAN best practices, actively engage during high severity issues and drive resolution, review technology changes to identify potential risks, and guarantee production readiness.
In addition, they will be available and capable of driving complex or high severity incidents within their role, and engage in understanding new technologies and trends, reviewing them for incorporation into current systems.
Key Responsibilities:- Taking on technical tasks and supporting day-to-day BAU tasks, incidents, and RFCs.
- Providing technical knowledge and support services proactively and reactively to maintain the availability and reliability of database system infrastructure in accordance with SLA.
- Working in line with policies based on LEAN best practices.
- Actively engaging during high severity issues and driving resolution.
- Reviewing technology changes to identify potential risks.
- Guaranteeing production readiness.
- Engaging in understanding new technologies and trends, reviewing them for incorporation into current systems.
