About the Role

As a senior ICA systems designer, you will oversee the entire ICA design process, from concept to implementation. Your role is to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of projects. This involves leading a team of engineers and overseeing various tasks, including control logic development, CMS programming, HMI interfaces, sub-control systems selection, and configuration.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead a team of ICA engineers in designing and implementing complex ICA systems, ensuring adherence to industrial standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Develop and implement control logic, CMS programming, HMI interfaces, and sub-control systems to ensure seamless communication and synchronisation of control components.
  • Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to source equipment and systems that meet quality and performance standards.
  • Manage project resources, including budget estimation, resource allocation, and cost control.
  • Ensure clear and consistent communication with clients and stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • Minimum Bachelor's Degree in Electrical, Process Control & Instrumentation, Automation Engineering or related engineering discipline.
  • At least 15 years of relevant ICA engineering experience in planning, design, SAT/FAT, and construction of major waste-to-energy, water, wastewater, process plant projects or similar major industrial projects.
  • Familiarity with industry standards, code of practice, and regulations in Singapore.
  • Experience with Revit/AutoCAD Plant 3D and other related design software applications is preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and willingness to take on responsibility and work overtime as needed.
