Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Senior Equipment Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software development, hardware integration, and digitalization.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing technical support for production operations, ensuring output and quality meet the required standards. This includes hardware/software integration and development, as well as setup of required systems for production operations.

The role requires a high degree of creativity and innovative thinking, with the ability to develop complex system solutions that balance electrical engineering, robotics, software, and digitalization principles.

In addition to troubleshooting and resolving system issues, the Senior Equipment Engineer will define and design machine interfaces architecture, develop middleware as equipment interfaces through programming languages (Java, C#), and analyze data to inform decisions about software system improvement.

Strong collaboration and communication skills are essential for this role, as the engineer will work closely with cross-functional teams, clients, and internal stakeholders to communicate project statuses and proposals.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Software Engineering/Computer Science or related field
  • At least 5 years of relevant working experience in manufacturing industry
  • Experience with machine to MES interface technologies (e.g. OPC-UA) and software programming (e.g. C#, Java)
  • Understanding of software Development environment (Build/maintain Jenkins Server, Issue Tracking (Jira), source control (Git))
