Warehouse Operations Specialist

Job Description:

  • Operate a forklift to safely move and stack materials within the warehouse.
  • Transport goods to designated areas, ensuring efficient logistics and supply chain management.
  • Conduct routine checks and perform basic maintenance tasks on forklifts, promoting equipment reliability and productivity.
  • Verify incoming and outgoing goods against delivery orders, invoices, or other documentation, maintaining accurate records and preventing discrepancies.
  • Ensure proper storage and handling of goods to prevent damage, adhering to warehouse safety protocols.
  • Assist in general warehouse duties such as packing, labeling, and inventory management when required.
  • Comply with all workplace safety and health regulations, reporting any hazards or incidents to supervisors.

Job Requirements:

  • At least 1–2 years of relevant forklift driving/operating experience.
  • Possess a valid Forklift Operator License (WSQ certification or equivalent).
  • Meet physical fitness standards to handle warehouse operations.
  • Have knowledge of warehouse safety practices and procedures.
  • Demonstrate good teamwork and communication skills.
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment and follow instructions accurately.
  • Willingness to work overtime if required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Efficiently load and unload goods from trucks and containers.
  • Stack and store materials in a safe and organized manner.
  • Perform quality control checks on incoming and outgoing goods.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Valid Forklift Operator License.
  • Relevant forklift driving/operating experience.
  • Good physical fitness.
  • Knowledge of warehouse safety practices and procedures.
  • Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
