Job Description:
This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a data center operations specialist. Your primary responsibility will be to provide top-notch support for our data center infrastructure, ensuring that all systems run smoothly and efficiently. This includes monitoring and troubleshooting issues, performing regular maintenance tasks, and collaborating with other teams to resolve problems.
Responsibilities:
Data Center Support
Monitor and maintain data center facilities infrastructure to ensure optimal performance
Respond swiftly to system alerts and alarms, troubleshooting and resolving issues
Maintain accurate inventory records for hardware and software licenses
IT Asset Management
Manage software procurement and licensing
Track asset lifecycle (deployment, transfers, refreshes, decommissioning)
General Infrastructure Support
Provide Tier 1-2 infrastructure support
Skillset:
A strong background in data center operations or IT asset management is necessary for success in this role. You should also possess excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills, as well as the ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team. Proficiency in ITSM tools and basic knowledge of endpoint management are a plus.
