Job Description

This role is responsible for designing and developing innovative projects in the APAC Markets.

The Marketing Associate will work with a direct supervisor to create a pipeline of initiatives that address trial barriers, expand brand penetration, and grow sales and shares in Key APAC Markets.

The role will manage the innovation process and lead collaboration with internal resources and stakeholders to advance projects through the Gate process. This includes partnering with cross-functional teams, advocating for project management tools, proactively launching projects, mitigating risks, and maintaining a list of 'Opportunity' projects as back-ups.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead regular multi-functional project team meetings to move projects through the Gate process, providing meeting notes with clear actions and timings.
  • Presentation of Gate documents and leading discussions on innovation projects during Sales & Marketing / Integrated Business Management meetings.
  • Ensure project management tools are up to date, with SKU plans locked in time, keeping projects on track to hit ETA and key deliverable dates.
  • Collate and build all elements of the P&L, with a clear understanding of areas that can be influenced to drive profitability within a portfolio mix.
  • Work with design agencies and procurement engineers to deliver a strategic look and feel to the portfolio through cost-effective solutions.
  • Drive R&D/OBD discussions to ensure profitable COGS on all projects through clear briefs and benchmarks.
Required Skills and Qualifications

This role requires strong project management skills, well-developed marketing and general management skills, and a drive for profitability through sound P&L management linked to the Innovation Strategy.

Key qualifications include:

  • Strong analytical skills to sort through complex data, make well-reasoned conclusions, and translate these into sound plans.
  • Able to work effectively with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and internal resources.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
