Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Baker to join our team in the preparation and baking of laminated pastries using our house sourdough starter.

The ideal candidate will possess formal training in baking/pastry or relevant on-the-job bakery experience, as well as a keen interest in laminated doughs and sourdough-based baking.

This role requires strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a sense of responsibility. The successful candidate will be able to work early morning shifts, weekends, and public holidays, and will be physically fit and able to stand for extended periods.

  • Daily preparation and baking of laminated pastries using our house sourdough starter
  • Mixing, folding, and shaping doughs according to our established processes
  • Monitoring proofing and baking schedules to ensure product consistency
  • Assisting with mise en place and kitchen prep tasks
  • Supporting the Head Baker in day-to-day operations and recipe development
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Formal training in baking/pastry or relevant on-the-job bakery experience
