Job Title: Associate Director, Enterprise Architecture(Data)

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Associate Director, Enterprise Architecture(Data) to join our team at JOBLINE RESOURCES PTE. LTD. As a key member of our architecture team, you will be responsible for providing architectural leadership and vision for our Data Platform.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop strategy and data platform roadmaps to drive business growth and innovation.
  • Design and oversee current and target data architecture and blueprints to meet business needs.
  • Align data architecture with technology and business architecture to ensure seamless integration.
  • Define data security architecture to protect sensitive information.
  • Lead governance forums on the usage of technology stacks for data space to ensure compliance and best practices.
  • Consult data teams and business stakeholders on data solutions and provide recommendations on emerging technology to senior management.
  • Be a key stakeholder and advisor in all new strategic Data initiatives and ensure alignment to the enterprise-wide data strategy.
  • Contribute to the business strategies and roadmap development to meet business objectives with existing or emerging data related technologies.
  • Identify business value through the use of data and understand the needs of business and the business vision.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field.
  • Minimum 12 years of experience in the architecture domain, with a focus on data architecture and governance.
  • Architecture design and development of large scale data platforms and data solutions.
  • Expertise in design and management of complex data structures and data processes.
  • Expertise in metadata management, data processing, reference data management.
  • Expertise in streaming and batching data processing.
  • Deep knowledge and hands on experience on big data and cloud computing technologies.
  • Strong service architecture and development experience with high performance and scalability.
  • Experience in defining corporate-wide data strategy and data governance.
  • Extensive hands-on experience in designing and developing data models, integrating data from multiple sources, data flow design, building data pipelines for data platforms – data lake and data warehouse.
  • Experience in SQL, NoSql, Graph DB, Hadoop and Spark.
  • Familiar with one or more Architecture Frameworks (e.g. TOGAF etc.).
  • Experience in operating architecture review board.
  • Keep up with the technology development in the related areas in the industry, which could be leveraged to enhance current architectures and build durable new ones.
  • Outstanding verbal, written, presentation, facilitation, and technical skills.
