Senior HVAC Project Manager Job Overview

This role involves overseeing all aspects of project implementation, ensuring timely delivery and client satisfaction.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate project planning, design, installation, and commissioning to meet customer needs.
  • Provide technical guidance and expertise to project teams, adhering to safety protocols and industry regulations.
  • Liaise with clients, stakeholders, and subcontractors to manage project timelines, expectations, and budgets.
  • Identify and mitigate risks, implementing contingency plans for smooth project delivery.
  • Lead and mentor a team of engineers, fostering collaboration and high performance.
  • Pursue process improvements, introduce new technologies, and drive innovation within the organization.
  • Contribute to project proposal development and provide input on engineering solutions.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • 3-5 years of experience as a Project Engineer or Senior Project Engineer in the HVAC/chiller industry.
  • Proven track record of managing complex projects from inception to completion.
  • Strong technical knowledge of HVAC and chiller systems, including design, installation, commissioning, and maintenance.
  • Effective project management and problem-solving skills, with adaptability to changing requirements.
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documentation.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective client, contractor, and team member interactions.
  • Diploma/degree or professional certification in HVAC/chiller systems.
