Job Opportunity: GRC Specialist

We are seeking a skilled professional to join our team as a GRC Specialist. This role will involve leading complex projects and providing expert advice on Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) matters.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in GRC-related roles, with a proven track record of leading complex projects or acting as a subject matter expert. They should also possess strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex data and identify root causes.

In this role, you will be responsible for conducting in-depth risk assessments, developing risk mitigation strategies, and monitoring and analyzing key risk indicators (KRIs) and control self-assessments (CSAs). You will also perform comprehensive compliance monitoring activities, including detailed reviews of transactions, processes, and documentation to ensure adherence to internal policies, external regulations, and grant agreements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead complex GRC projects and provide expert advice on GRC matters
  • Conduct in-depth risk assessments and develop risk mitigation strategies
  • Monitor and analyze KRIs and CSAs to identify potential threats to the organization's objectives and resources
  • Perform comprehensive compliance monitoring activities to ensure adherence to internal policies, external regulations, and grant agreements
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, Finance, Business Administration, Law, or a related discipline
  • Minimum of 6-9 years of extensive experience in a GRC-related role
  • Proven track record of leading complex projects or acting as a subject matter expert
  • Demonstrated deep expertise in at least one core GRC domain (e.g., internal audit, enterprise risk management, regulatory compliance, financial crime compliance)
