Firefighting Vehicle Maintenance Technician

The Service Technician will be responsible for ensuring the optimal performance and safety of firefighting vehicles by conducting regular inspections, functional tests, installations, repairs, and routine maintenance.

  • Perform comprehensive vehicle checks to identify potential issues before they become major problems.
  • Carry out detailed repairs and replacements of electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic components as required.
  • Maintain accurate service records, including problem analysis reports, repair descriptions, and parts used.
  • Submit timely and detailed reports to supervisors on a regular basis.

To excel in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of a Professional Certificate in Automotive, Electronic, or Mechatronic fields.
  • At least 2 years of relevant industry experience is required, with additional training provided.
  • A strong willingness to perform hands-on work and collaborate effectively within a team environment.
  • The ability to commit to overtime and travel to various locations as necessary.
  • A Class 3/4 driving license is highly preferred but not essential.
