About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Sales and Literature Expert to join our team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about Chinese literature, reading, and cultural themes. You will have excellent knowledge of books, authors, and themes across adult categories.

Key Responsibilities:
• Provide exceptional customer service, offering tailored book recommendations to walk-in customers.
• Maintain in-depth knowledge of books, authors, and themes across various genres.
• Assist with daily operations, including opening/closing, display setup, and maintaining a clean store environment.
• Ensure smooth POS operation and accurate daily sales reconciliation.
• Organize and refresh in-store book displays, posters, and featured sections.
• Coordinate with marketing for in-store promotions, online campaigns, and seasonal displays.
• Prepare daily sales reports and identify bestsellers or low-stock titles.
• Participate in mini book training sessions to deepen book knowledge.

Ideal Candidate:
• Passionate about Chinese literature and culture.
• At least 2 years of customer-facing retail experience, preferably in bookstores or similar settings.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Able to multitask in a small team setting.
• Comfortable working weekends (off-days on weekdays will be arranged).

Ideal Qualifications:
• Minimum: O-Level qualifications.
• Preferred: Diploma in Business, Retail Management, or Chinese Studies (or equivalent).
• Proficient in both Mandarin and English (spoken and written).
• Interest in or familiarity with Chinese books and culture.
• Confident using POS systems and basic computer tools.
• Willing to work weekends and public holidays on rotation.
