Job Summary

The Supply Chain Distribution Leader is responsible for overseeing the efficient storage and dispatch of finished products to designated Asia Pacific countries from the distribution centre (SADC). This role requires strong leadership and guidance skills to manage operators in their daily tasks, ensuring compliance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and maintaining a safe working environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and guide operators in their daily tasks, ensuring timely completion of tasks and maintaining a high level of productivity.
  • Execute daily operations in accordance with SOPs, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in all processes.
  • Maintain safety procedures and monitor team performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
  • Perform tasks related to inbound, storage, and outbound of Cook products, including picking orders, scanning orders, and checking quantities.
  • Enter inventory into the Warehouse Management System (WMS) and label and pack items to meet customer requirements.
  • Ensure on-time delivery to customers, maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Upkeep and maintain materials handling equipment (MHE), ensuring they are in good working condition.
  • Comply with safety regulations and security measures for warehouse operations, ensuring a safe working environment.
  • Check overseas orders received, resolving any discrepancies or issues.
  • Responsible for storage after inspection, regular execution of cycle count and stock take activities, and resolving inventory discrepancies immediately.
  • Distribution Centre Consumable Management, including preparing daily reports and raising issues that occurred.
  • Oversee the security and safety regulation and implementation for the Distribution Centre, ensuring compliance and effectiveness.
  • Support the implementation of QMS (Quality Management System), ensuring compliance and maintaining its effectiveness.

Requirements

  • NITEC or Diploma holders, preferably with Professional Certification in Logistics/Supply Chain/Warehousing.
  • 2-3 years of experience in a warehousing environment, with ability to operate reach truck/order picker.
  • Basic knowledge of Warehouse Management System and proficiency in MS Office (MS Word/Excel).
  • Good command of written and spoken English, with a sense of urgency and meticulous, positive mindset, and good teamwork skills.
  • Physically fit to operate the given task, able to lead staff and work independently, and commit to working hours to support business when required.
