Job Description:

We are seeking a seasoned Transportation Logistics Manager to oversee our transportation operations and ensure seamless logistics execution.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement intercompany planning strategies across plants, subcontractors, and distribution centers.
  • Validate and execute urgent shipments efficiently, ensuring timely delivery and minimal disruptions.
  • Resolve shipment discrepancies promptly and escalate critical issues to senior management.
  • Coordinate with warehouses and Logistics Service Providers to guarantee smooth shipment execution and optimize logistics costs.
  • Manage freight settlement, including invoice validation, accruals, and KPI tracking, to maintain financial accuracy and compliance.
  • Monitor and review service delivery performance and KPIs with 3rd Party Logistics partners, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
  • Prepare daily and monthly KPI reports to inform business decisions and drive operational excellence.
  • Manage site services, material inventory, and conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
  • Oversee RFQ and tender processes, negotiating contracts that meet business needs and minimize risks.
  • Support transportation logistics projects, collaborating with cross-functional teams to achieve project goals and objectives.
  • Execute shipment processes such as booking requests and shipment tracking, leveraging technology to enhance efficiency and reduce errors.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Degree in Logistics or related fields, with a strong foundation in transportation management principles.
  • Minimum 5 years experience in Transportation Logistics, Freight Forwarding, or similar roles, with a proven track record of success.
  • Proficient in SAP and advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills, with the ability to analyze data and develop insights-driven recommendations.
  • Strong project management abilities, with experience leading cross-functional teams and driving project outcomes.
  • Positive attitude, enthusiasm, and a strong, committed personality, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to handle stress and good time management skills, with a focus on delivering high-quality results under tight deadlines.
