Job Title

Engineering Assistant is a crucial role in our production line. This position requires individuals who are skilled in equipment maintenance, quality control, and process improvement.

  • Maintain and troubleshoot equipment to prevent breakdowns during production runs.

  • Carry out feeder maintenance and repair work to ensure optimal performance.

  • Perform ESD verification on work benches and equipment to meet safety standards.

  • Support project work for line improvement to achieve maximum efficiency.

  • Support NPI activities, including pick & place program editing, line balancing, and UPH improvement.

  • Carry out preventive maintenance on production equipment, tools, and fixtures.

  • Support Wave soldering machine tasks similar to SMT.

  • Assist with Plant Facility duties as needed.

  • Other duties may be assigned based on the company's needs.

Required Skills and Qualifications

Nitec or Diploma in Engineering or equivalent is required.

A minimum of 1 year experience in equipment maintenance related field is preferred.

Knowledge of basic electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic principles is essential.

Proficiency in computer applications is also necessary.
