Job Description

Solomon's Porch Singapore is a vibrant, non-denominational and multi-cultural community committed to growing in Christ and reaching the nations. We are currently seeking a passionate and visionary leader to direct and grow our children's ministry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, lead, evaluate weekly children's programs (Sunday Service, holiday programs, special events)
  • Select adapt biblically sound, age-appropriate curriculum
  • Recruit train schedule support team of volunteers
  • Build strong relationships with children families
  • Communicate regularly with parents to support faith development at home
  • Ensure all child safety policies protocols followed
  • Collaborate with church staff pastors to integrate children's ministry into life of church
  • Organize lead special events such as Family Workshops Children's Day family outreach events

The ideal candidate will have a heart for children, strong leadership administrative skills ability to minister cross-culturally within diverse congregation including English Mandarin Korean-speaking families.

Required Skills and Qualifications

Key Requirements:

  • Over 10 years experience leading serving in children's ministry church parachurch setting
  • Strong leadership communication organizational skills
  • Ability work effectively with diverse team volunteers
  • Proficient English Mandarin Korean as we have number Chinese Korean-speaking families
  • Degree education theology children's ministry related field
