About the Role

As a Marketing Intern at General Assembly Singapore, you will be part of a dynamic team that drives traffic and grows our presence in Singapore. You will assist in creating, promoting, and executing events, workshops, and local campaigns that engage our audience and add value to our students, campus, and business.

This is a great opportunity to work in a high-growth environment with a highly energetic and dedicated team. You will learn the ins and outs of event management, marketing, social media management, and building partnerships that drive business results.

Responsibilities

  • Conceptualize digital assets to support events and workshops promotion, including social media content, microsites, and other marketing collateral.
  • Contribute to our holistic marketing plan, working with the team to take ideas from concept stage through to launch.
  • Event Execution: Manage preliminary arrangements for our events, including identifying speakers, writing event blurbs, setting up event pages, and identifying new marketing channels.
  • Instructors & Speakers Sourcing: Identify potential instructors and speakers who align with our values and expertise.
  • Social media management: Create effective designs for marketing collateral and content, and manage customer messages on social media platforms.
  • Customer Service Inbox Management: Respond to customer inquiries and assist promptly.
  • Data Management: Assist with administrative tasks to help the Marketing team organize and evaluate our efforts and campaigns.

Requirements

  • Good eye for design and familiarity with Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and Canva.
  • Highly organized and able to prioritize tasks.
  • Data-driven and comfortable with spreadsheets and basic data analysis.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, problem-solve, and execute in a timely fashion.
  • Passion for education and changing lives.

Commitment

This is a 6-month commitment. Must be based in Singapore for the internship period.
