Supply Chain Optimization Expert

We are seeking a highly skilled Supply Chain Optimization Expert to join our team.

About the Role

The Supply Chain Optimization Expert will be responsible for optimizing business processes within the supply chain department and across cross-functional teams.

This involves developing, designing, and implementing supply chain management processes that drive continuous improvement through auditing and maintenance throughout the product lifecycle.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of production processes and business process analysis, as well as proficiency in project management methodologies.

A key aspect of this role is leading teams and directly communicating to drive improvement programs focused on supply chain design, inventory control, cost reduction, and lead-time reduction.

The Supply Chain Optimization Expert will also be responsible for updating and optimizing existing supply chain management processes by collaborating with relevant process owners.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct regular process reviews to identify and implement improvements
  • Develop and implement new processes, such as Material Requirements Planning (MRP), ensuring alignment with the overall supply chain strategy and objectives
  • Lead and manage strategic projects aimed at achieving Supply Chain Excellence
  • Monitor and analyze performance metrics to drive continuous improvement
  • Design and deploy improvement projects to enhance efficiency and reduce waste
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Minimum Degree in Business, Engineering, or Supply Chain Management
  • At least 3 years of experience in a contract manufacturing environment
  • Proficiency in project management methodologies to ensure timely and cost-effective project completion
  • Strong understanding of production processes and business process analysis
  • Familiarity with ERP and warehouse management systems
  • Effective communication skills with all organizational levels and external stakeholders
