High-Performing Tech Role

This is a high-performing tech role at an institutional investment firm. The ideal candidate has transitioned from backend development into DevOps or platform engineering and enjoys solving technical challenges that improve developer productivity.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop secure, cloud-native platforms for hundreds of backend engineers.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand workflows and improve developer experience.
- Deploy and manage infrastructure on AWS using tools like Terraform, Docker, Kubernetes (EKS).
- Develop automation pipelines and CI/CD workflows using Github Actions, Jenkins, or similar tools.
- Maintain system performance, troubleshoot issues, and support platform scaling.
Must-Have Skills:
- Strong software development background.
- 5+ years of hands-on experience with AWS, Including EKS, IAM, EC2 and Lambda.
- 2-3 years of experience in software engineering (Java, JavaScript, Python, or .NET).
- Containerization tools: Docker, Kubernetes, Helm.
- Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform or CloudFormation).
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools (e.g., Github Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins).
- Working knowledge of logging/monitoring tools like Datadog, Splunk, CloudWatch.
