Curriculum Manager (Primary English Language)

Location: Thomson Plaza ; visit another branch at Tampines, Punggol, Parkway, Bukit Timah when needed.

Working days: Tuesday - Saturday
Working Time: 44 hours per week | Must be comfortable to work 4 weekdays (2 early weekdays 10am-7pm, 2 late weekdays 12.30pm-9.30pm) and 1 weekend (8am-6pm)
Salary: $5500 - $6500 (depends to qualification and experiences)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive curriculum framework for Primary English language, ensuring alignment with MOE guidelines and delivering a engaging learning experience.
  • Lead the curriculum team in planning, designing, and researching innovative programs to bridge learning gaps and provide growth opportunities.
  • Collaborate with writers to develop curriculum materials, provide training and development, and ensure timely submission of work.
  • Conduct regular level meetings to communicate curriculum goals, solicit feedback from teachers, and review lesson outcomes.
  • Deliver quality lessons, display strong classroom delivery skills, and effectively utilize teaching materials to create a stimulating learning environment.
  • Mark and grade students' assignments, provide value-added feedback, and ensure timely return of work.
  • Foster good relationships with students' parents through regular feedback and suggestions for parental involvement.
  • Work with the customer service team to provide a positive customer experience and minimize withdrawal rates.

Requirements:

  • Degree in English Language, English language Literature, or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of work experience in curriculum planning, development, training, and teaching English language and creative writing in an enrichment industry in Singapore.
  • Minimum 2 years of work experience in managing a curriculum team.
  • Proficiency in designing various types of assessments, including formative, summative, performance-based, and portfolio assessments.
  • Familiar with the primary English language subject with MOE syllabus.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, familiar with other software like Illustrator or Photoshop is a plus.
