This Senior Research Fellow position is an exciting opportunity to join IDMxS and contribute to cutting-edge research in optical microscopy and spectroscopy. The successful candidate will have a strong background in microscopy and spectroscopy techniques and excellent research experience.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Conducting research projects utilizing advanced optical microscopy and spectroscopy techniques.
  • Developing and maintaining complex microscopy equipment, including STED and time-resolved confocal microscopes.
  • Collaborating with IDMxS researchers to integrate imaging, microscopy, and spectroscopy solutions into research projects.
  • Developing and publishing research papers, applying for research grants, and managing funded projects.
  • Mentoring junior researchers and students in optical microscopy and spectroscopy techniques.

Requirements

  • PhD in a relevant discipline, with at least 5 years of postdoctoral research experience.
  • Demonstrated expertise in advanced optical microscopy and spectroscopy techniques.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • A strong publication record and ability to secure research funding.
