Senior Automation Expert

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Manufacturing Technology Engineer to oversee end-to-end automation and digitalization projects.

  • Oversight of automation and digitalization projects from conceptualization through to implementation, validation, and ongoing maintenance.
  • Collaboration with internal and external stakeholders to drive action, manage smart lean projects, and identify opportunities for production improvements.
  • Ensuring compliance with quality standards, participating in audits, and maintaining documentation and trial processes.
  • Sustaining and maintaining equipment, managing the PM & calibration master schedule, and working with calibration service providers.
  • Aligning and training technicians on calibration and other relevant topics.
  • Focusing on transforming backend processes and warehouse systems through automation, digitization, and cost-saving initiatives.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechatronics/Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or related fields.
  • 2-5 years of experience designing and implementing automation solutions, particularly for Automatic Assembly Machines in medical devices or electronics manufacturing/Semiconductor environment.
  • Proficient in industrial equipment and systems, including robotic assembly, warehouse operations, SMT manufacturing processes, and box-build assembly.
  • Skilled in preventive maintenance, tool/mold management, calibration, and debugging/troubleshooting equipment.
  • Design-for-manufacturing, FMEA, DOE, Statistical Process Control, and PLC/SCADA systems, with experience in 3-D CAD modeling software (AutoCAD, Pro-Engineer, SolidWorks, etc.).
  • Familiar with Lean Six Sigma methodologies and World Class Manufacturing principles.
