Job Description

We are seeking a seasoned Senior Regulatory Strategy Lead to drive our APAC regional regulatory strategy, providing exceptional leadership and stewardship to align vision and execution.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a regional regulatory team to manage regulatory affairs, including formula compliance, labeling compliance, and registration/notification compliance.
  • Develop and execute short-term and long-term goals/objectives in the regulatory field to ensure marketing objectives are met.
  • Supervise registration/notification of products by local markets and distributors for obtaining approval of new products and maintenance of existing product licenses.
  • Cultivate evolving regulations and conduct critical assessments on their impact.
  • Provide counsel to stakeholders/management on relevant courses of action and lead advocacy with local authorities to minimize business impact caused by relevant regulations.
  • Offer accurate and timely support to local affiliates and distributors regarding regulatory inquiries from local authorities, consumers, retailers, and other stakeholders.
  • Report and share major regulatory issues to HQ monthly in dotted line reporting relationships. Urgent/critical matters require immediate reporting.
  • Update consumer-related policies and execution plans to enhance consumer relationships within the region.
  • Support local markets with health/quality complaints in consumer relationships from technical and consumer relationship perspectives.

Requirements:

  • Minimum degree holder majoring in any relevant discipline from a recognized tertiary institution.
  • Industry leader with preferably more than 15 years of experience in regulatory affairs expertise.
  • Experience in Pharma, Healthcare, Personal Care, Skincare, Cosmetics is mandatory.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
