Job Description:

The ideal candidate will be a highly skilled Speech and Language Therapist with a tertiary degree qualification in the field. They will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to engage effectively with staff members, children, parents and other associated professionals.

Responsibilities include holding responsibility for Speech-language Therapy programmes, supporting the development, implementation and maintenance of Speech-language Therapy services, providing general supervision to SLT Interns, and providing education and training to parents, teachers and other professionals.

The successful candidate will also promote the development of speech and language skills of students, including but not limited to speech clarity, phonological skills, language comprehension and expression, social communication, and executive functions.

  • Providing goal-orientated treatment through direct and consultative intervention strategies for students
  • Attending monthly meetings for peer supervision, case discussion, discussing student goals and plans, communication and problem solving of Speech-language Therapy specific matters, organising/providing internal CPD
