Research Scientist Opportunity
We are seeking a skilled Research Scientist to lead our protein engineering initiatives.
This role will focus on designing and constructing expression vectors, as well as executing protein analysis, expression, purification, and antibody generation projects.
Main Responsibilities:
- Protein Design and Construction: Develop and implement efficient methods for expression vector design.
- Protein Analysis: Conduct column chromatography, SDS-PAGE, and other physicochemical analyses to characterize protein behavior.
- Protein Expression: Oversee the production of antibodies using mammalian cell culture systems.
- Protein Purification: Operate purification equipment, perform SDS-PAGE, and execute Western Blotting assays.
- Antibody Generation: Clone B cells and develop antibody libraries.
Requirements:
- A degree in Biological Sciences, Biomedical Science, or a related field.
- Experience with laboratory procedures and techniques such as molecular biology and protein chemistry.
- Proficiency in operating automated liquid handling systems and structural analysis software.
