Protecting People and Planet: Environmental Health Professional Role

As an Environmental Health Specialist, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safety and well-being of our team members and the environment.
- Implement and monitor environmental management systems to prevent recurrence of environmental health issues, including vector control and Earth Control Measures (ECM).
- Ensure compliance with occupational health and environmental regulations, including relevant public authority requirements.
- Identify and recommend measures to prevent environmental health risks, such as mosquito breeding, rodent infestation, and poor housekeeping.
- Supervise and maintain ECM facilities and equipment to ensure effective functioning and prevent hazards.
- Conduct regular inspections to ensure site facilities and sanitary provisions are properly maintained.
- Address feedback on environmental health irregularities and coordinate remedial actions with the Project Manager.
- Measure, monitor, and review Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) performance and present findings at WSH Committee meetings.
- Organize campaigns, training, and awareness programmes to promote high environmental health standards.
- Certified ECO or ECMO
- At least 3-5 years' experience in environmental health management
