Job Title: Data Management Professional.

Company Overview: GIC is a leading global long-term investor with a focus on private markets investment services. Our team is responsible for providing deal structuring and closing, portfolio monitoring, valuation, finance, operations, tax, data management, and analytics services in the execution of private markets investments across asset classes and businesses.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the end-to-end data lifecycle for private markets operations.
  • Design, implement, and maintain data models for private markets products, Investment Book of Records (IBOR), and Accounting Book of Records (ABOR).
  • Manage and operate the end-to-end reporting cycle for private market investments, monitoring data issues, investigating root causes, designing, and tracking resolutions.
  • Lead the development of business user requirements, monitor project progress, and design testing strategies to execute user acceptance testing of systems and data changes.
  • Support the implementation of new capabilities in enterprise projects and platforms for private markets as the business, accounting, and data subject matter expert.

Requirements:
Education:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Data Analytics, Information Systems, or relevant disciplines.
Experience:
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant work experience, preferably in private markets, finance, or investment/asset management industry.
Skills:
  • Strong hands-on understanding of key principles, processes, and controls relating to data management and reporting.
  • Excellent project and time management skills to drive multiple workstreams concurrently.
  • Experience in using Microsoft Excel Power Query and coding in Python/SQL is advantageous.
Personal Qualities:
  • Detail-oriented, with strong analytical skills and enjoy complex problem-solving.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to interact with diverse stakeholders to design and develop solutions.
