Job Title: Mechanical Design Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Design Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and developing mechanical components, systems, and products.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical engineering, with experience in CAD design software such as SolidWorks, Solid Edge, Pro-E, or AutoCAD. You should also have a good understanding of mechanical design principles, materials, and production processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Translate engineering and product requirements into mechanical design concepts.
  • Create 3D models and detailed engineering drawings using CAD tools.
  • Support basic design analysis and simulation to assess design feasibility.
  • Participate in selecting materials and components based on performance, cost, and manufacturability.
  • Assist in the design of tooling, jigs, and fixtures for use in assembly and testing.
  • Collaborate with Manufacturing and Process Engineers to support design implementation and manufacturability.
  • Contribute to design reviews and continuous improvement activities.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering or a related field from a recognized institution.
  • Internship, academic project, or practical exposure to mechanical design is advantageous.
  • Familiarity with CAD software such as SolidWorks, Solid Edge, Pro-E, or AutoCAD.
  • Basic understanding of mechanical design principles, materials, and production processes.
