**Job Title:** Academic Support Professional
**Job Description:**

We are seeking a skilled Academic Support Professional to join our team. The successful candidate will provide individualized support to students with diverse learning needs, developing and implementing tailored plans to meet their unique goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement, and review Individualized Educational Plans (IEPs) and Learning Support Plans (LSPs)
  • Provide student support through consultation, classroom co-teaching, and one-on-one sessions
  • Collaborate with classroom teachers to adapt instructional methods and ensure accommodations are met
  • Monitor student progress and communicate regularly with parents, teachers, and administrators
  • Contribute to psycho-educational evaluations and behavior/academic support planning
  • Co-plan and co-teach with homeroom teachers using inclusive teaching models
  • Support Admissions Team in screening incoming students requiring learning support
**Required Skills and Qualifications:**
  • Bachelor's degree and valid teaching credential (exceptions considered by the Academic Board)
  • Specialized training/experience in special education or related field
  • International teaching experience across multiple countries
  • Ability to work with diverse cultural, linguistic, and educational backgrounds
  • Strong background in developing IEPs
