Audit Director Role
The Audit Director will lead the assurance team to execute audit strategies, manage projects and engagements profitably, monitor progress, cultivate business development opportunities, conduct timely performance reviews, develop people, maintain cooperative relationships with other teams, and develop long-term productive client relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage assurance engagements by defining the audit strategy in consultation with senior members and execute it in compliance with policies and protocols. When required, personally execute complex audit procedures and lead teams on engagements, depending on the engagement size.
- Manage projects and engagements profitably by leading the team to perform efficiently.
- Monitor the assurance team's progress against the plan and alter it when needed.
- Cultivate and manage business development opportunities by understanding the services provided by sister concerns and actively assessing/presenting ways to apply knowledge and services.
- Conduct timely performance reviews and provide performance feedback/on-the-job training to attain experiences that cultivate technical competencies.
- Develop people by encouraging individuals to think for themselves and take responsibility for their contributions to the assurance team.

Required Skills and Qualifications
Skills and Attributes:
- Work effectively as a team member, sharing responsibility, providing support, maintaining communication, and updating senior team members on progress.
- Contribute ideas/opinions to the assurance teams and listen/respond to other assurance team members' views.
- Demonstrate professionalism and competence in the audit client's environment.
- Cultivate and manage business development opportunities. Generate new business opportunities by understanding the services provided by our sister concerns and actively assess/present ways to apply knowledge and services.
- Good project management skills.
- Integrity within a professional environment.
- Demonstrate professionalism and competence in the audit client's environment.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Obtained or in the final stages of obtaining CPA Singapore qualification.
- Working knowledge of Caseware audit software is a strong advantage.
- At least 3 years of related work experience in a managerial role.
