As an AV technician, you will play a key role in supporting audiovisual equipment and ensuring seamless business operations. The AV-IT Support team is responsible for setting up and supporting AV-IT equipment in classrooms and meeting rooms.

This includes planning and preparing equipment and support for CSC business and operations. The team manages incidents, troubleshoots issues, and ensures corrective actions and resolutions are in place.

Maintenance of AV-IT equipment involves conducting non-comprehensive and preventive maintenance. Corrective actions and resolutions are followed up on from incident management and maintenance.

The team also manages AV-IT assets and licenses, which is crucial for business and operational sustainability. Anticipative support and communication with end users help them prepare for training programs and meetings.

A professional advisory partnership exists between the AV-IT team and CSC to provide subject matter expertise in AV-IT matters.

Specific roles and responsibilities include:

  1. Operations Supervisor

The Operations Supervisor will lead, supervise, manage, and account for all on-site AV-IT personnel. This includes being the point of contact to liaise with roving AV-IT personnel in fulfilling the requirements of this contract at CSC.

The supervisor will oversee operations, including scheduling, assigning, and monitoring maintenance activities. Managing incidents and ensuring corrective actions and resolutions are in place are also key responsibilities.

The supervisor will be accountable for service performance to ensure service deliverables and standards are met.

  1. On-site Support Personnel (Technicians)

On-site AV-IT Technicians stationed in CSC should be trained and proficient in either AV or IT. They must have qualifications and relevant working experiences to provide AV IT support for classroom/event space setup and troubleshooting.

Additionally, they must be familiar with CSC equipment and installations, including knowledge on availability of equipment and functionalities.
