Job Opportunity:

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented individual to join our team as an Assistant Engineer in the Semiconductor Process department.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for operating semiconductor equipment, performing processes, measurements, and inspections of wafers. This includes setting up equipment, loading and unloading wafers, monitoring basic equipment/process errors, and performing recovery actions.

In addition, the candidate will work with internal and external parties to align tool time, execute process sequences, and collect data to provide feedback to integration owners.

Logistical transportation of wafer lots between equipment within cleanrooms and between worksites will also be required.

The ideal candidate will have a strong focus on identifying and addressing potential areas for improvement, such as cycle time reduction, utilization, and cost optimization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate semiconductor equipment to perform processes, measurements, and inspections of wafers.
  • Monitor basic equipment/process errors and perform recovery actions.
  • Work with internal and external parties to align tool time, execute process sequences, and collect data.
  • Transport wafer lots between equipment within cleanrooms and between worksites.
  • Identify and address potential areas for improvement, such as cycle time reduction, utilization, and cost optimization.

Requirements:

The following qualifications and skills are essential for this role:

  • Nitec/Higher Nitec in Engineering, Electronics, or related fields.
  • Strong adherence to Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) procedures.
  • Proficient in operating semiconductor equipment and basic troubleshooting.
  • Experience in semiconductor manufacturing or wafer processing is a plus.
  • Able to transport wafers in cleanroom and coordinate logistics.
