Job Title: Advanced Semiconductor Process Specialist
Role Overview:The semiconductor process engineer role presents a distinctive opportunity to work with cutting-edge equipment and develop strong Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) procedures.
- Operate sophisticated equipment: Perform processes, measurement, and inspection of wafers, including equipment setup, loading and unloading of wafers.
- Troubleshoot and maintain: Identify and resolve basic equipment/process errors and implement recovery strategies.
- Collaborate and communicate effectively: Work with internal and external parties to align for tool time, execute process sequence, and collect data to feedback to stakeholders.
- Logistics and transportation management: Transport wafer lots between equipment within cleanroom and between worksites (subject to requests).
- Process optimization: Identify and address potential areas for improvements such as cycle time, utilization, and efficiency.
- Chemical handling and maintenance: Perform chemical change/top-up for equipment under supervision.
- EHS compliance and adherence: Understand and follow all Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) procedures and requirements.
To be successful in this role, you will require a Nitec/Higher Nitec in Engineering, Electronics, or related fields, strong adherence to EHS procedures, proficiency in operating semiconductor equipment, and basic troubleshooting skills.
Able to transport wafers in cleanroom and coordinate logistics, independent, responsible, and able to work in a team environment.
