Job DescriptionThe Lead Product Quality Engineer is responsible for leading the team to support business unit improvement and compliance with regulatory systems. The goal is to drive quality improvement and enable business metric growth.
Key Responsibilities:- Drive and promote Quality culture and participate in EHS and other shop initiatives as necessary.
- Lead High Impact Quality Initiatives Projects.
- Partner and engage with Operations and Engineering teams to facilitate robust RCCA (Root Cause Analysis) to reduce Workmanship/WIP Losses, Rework, and improve FTY, delivery performance, eliminate Customer Disruptions and improve customer satisfaction.
- Track and monitor quality metrics (Yield, Losses, Escapes), and perform trend analysis to identify systemic improvement opportunities.
- Support internal audits and perform CAR verifications.
The ideal candidate has a minimum of 6 years relevant aerospace experience in repair/manufacturing or a quality assurance role, holds a recognized Lead Auditor or Internal Auditor certification, and knowledge of Six Sigma quality concepts and tools.
